A local lake has stopped people fishing there while it tries to replenish itself- apparently with the influx of polish people to the area they have been fishing and taken EVERYTHING they caught home to eat- does anybody know any good Carp, Roach, or Tench recipies!!!- and has anyone else heard of this?

No, not heard of it but the funny thing is our Polish neighbour did ask us yesterday were he could go fishing in our area.

On the Essex Metropolitan area East of London, they are having the same problem. Prime carp, tench etc., are being foul-hooked and taken away and eaten. It is also reported, but not confirmed, that Canadian Geese were being fed bread, then caught, plucked and roasted the same day in the same area. The fishing is confirmed from a local bailiff but there is a possibility that the Canadian Geese story may have gained in the telling..................
