I am writing a paper on how President Bush has used religion to make certain decisions in passing and vetoing laws. I am targeting gay rights, the war in Iraq, and the pledge of allegience being said in schools as my main topics, but am stuck on where I can find information on how his religious preferences have affected his decisions. Can anyone help me find a good source for my paper? I have little information right now and need a few more references.

There is no written policy. The actions the Administration have taken in the matters you mention have been *guided* by their feelings about how religious beliefs should determine laws or policies - not by very specific rules or regulations.

If you do a web search to view articles and news reports on the topics (like "gay rights+Bush" or "Iraq war + bush religion") you should be able to pinpoint information to help get info for your paper. These are very broad topics, so you'll have to spend some time searching.

Send an email to the white house. or The U.S. Government web site. I am sure you can find something there you can use. The religious issues you mention and immoral issues are good ones. However I don't think there is an administrative policy as much as a congressional and senate policy.

Check also with your local congressman or senator. I am sure they can help you.

Good luck finding ANYTHING. This administration is so tight with information regarding its policies, that I would be surprised if you could find much. You may have to go critics of Bush, and the commentary they have written, interpreting Bush's policy moves.
