While dating, a couple spoke about having children together (the husband already has 2). After getting married, the husband (secretly) changed his mind about wanting children. The wife ended up getting pregnant anyway and he flipped out wanting to leave and resenting her on and off. He recently decided to have a vasectomy done and thinks he is doing the right thing (for himself). They are a church going couple, but the decision was made solely by the husband and he is now cutting off her right to have the two children she said she wanted and he agreed on from the start. His decision was not one obvisouly prayed for or included his wife's feelings. What does anyone in the same situation suggest or say to this unfortunate situation?

Lets's see...Wife wanted kids, husband didn't so she gets pregnant anyway without his consent....Husband wants no more kids so he gets a vasectomy without her consent. I'd say they have a compromise... she wanted 2 he wanted 0 ; 2+0/2 people =1 kid. End of story... sounds as if both of them are selfish shiteheads.

You don't say anything. It's none of your business. It's between the wife and the husband. They need to work things out on their own. If you say anything or get involved, it will just blow up in your face.
He didn't consult her on the vasectomy but she didn't consult him on getting pregnant either!

I had the same problem. We agreed having 5 and my hubby chgd his mnd and ddnt wnt any. WE NOW HAVE 3! My sggstn is tell HER to pray. Her hubby is not pttng GOD 1st. No snip,condom etc..can stop you from gttng wht God has for you. Her devotion to God will turn her husband' flng's arnd unless it is smthng else bthrng him?? Men smtms thnk that having more kids means you're old.

Honestly it sounds to me like she should leave him. When you truly love someone you care about their needs, desires, dreams and goals as much as you care about your own. This man obviously doesnt care about what his wife "needs" to feel complete and happy.
