My god, some people are no use at all, whats the point in asking a question for people to give you useless answers to.
The one used by the Monty Python team is Loch Brynne in the North East of Scotland. This one is not a copper mine, it's just a set of caves and taverns, the set designers didn't have to much to it, just rebuild the bridge, the Loch Tay scenes were few and far between, this is about 20 miles from Brynne.

Go out there on an expedition to find it! Get a detailed map of the area (OS make maps of everywhere in the UK) and it will probably have the disused mines marked on it.

You need Ordinance Survey;

Just look out for lots of corpses in suits of armour and a viscious rabbit in the area.
