I love the name Makayla. My hubby hates it. If we are pregnant ( I hope to find out today) with a little girl we are naming her Lily.

My first daughters name is Celeste, my husband thought of it and I liked it...so we used it. My second daughters name is Adrienne, I didn't really like it at first and it still doesn't really fit her. So we call her Ainy for a nickname my oldest made it up. I actually had Adrian down as a name I liked for a boy. But since he was so adamant on using it we did. With my last girl I decided it was my turn to choose and I liked the name Lucia, but my husband hated it. So then I decided on 3 other names Isabelle, Madelyn, and Lily. He hated the first two, so now her name is Lily.

My husband liked the boy name I had picked out but couldn't stand any of the girl names that I had chosen. The two girl names that I love are Chamille and Amelia.
We just had a son three weeks ago that we named Korbin Michael, a name I've had picked out since fifth grade.
The girl names we came up with, just in case, are Trinity Hope and Keana Grace.

Oh, pretty much every single one I picked out. The kicker was that when my husband said he didn't like it, he couldn't give me a reason WHY. Did it sound too girly (we have two boys), does it remind you of someone who teased you in school? Do you think he'll be picked on becuase of it? Is it your grandfather's name and you hate it? WHY? I got the same dang answer every time..."I dunno. I just don't like it." Talk about infuriating. And infuriating is something you do NOT want to do to an 8 or 9 month pregnant woman. :)

To answer your question seriously, I really loved Nathan and Ethan, he hated them both though. :( We ended up naming them Jacob and Aidan.

I loved the name Braydon. My husband hated it. We are naming son Dalton. We let my 4 year old little boy pick out the name. We couldn't agree on anything.

I absolutely loved Morganna and my hubby would not here of it, so we have a Morgann but I still love that name. Now I love the name Jonah for our new baby and he hates that as well, it would be one thing if he hated names but told me names he likes but no, he just shouts down the names I suggest but has no suggestions of his own. Typical men LOL

I am in love with the name Kennis for a girl and Declan for a boy. My significant hates them. We will probably stick with the ones we originally chose, Quinn or Madelyn. I get more and more wishy washy the further along I get. We will most likely stick to one once we know what we are having. Maybe

My husband I couldn't agree on a single name! We each had names we thought were ideal, such as Hailey, Arianna, Oliva, etc... however the name we finally chose was actually picked by a stranger! This little one, a girl, is to arrive anyday and her name is going to be Amaya!

When I found out we were having a boy I was ecstatic! I had had my boy's name picked out since I was a little girl....I loved the name Benjamin Maddox. However, my husband HATED it. He was afraid people would try to call him Benji. So we decided on Blake Manning.

Peter. My husband thought the name would be associated to a certain part of the male anatomy. We named him James instead.
