Defense is great, but offense is suspect. Anyone can score against Packers & Lions - but only 1 TD (off a turnover in Viking's territory) against a good defense is not creating fear around the league.

I'm not sure there's a question there. No way - very unlikely anyone ever goes undefeated again- but it WILL NOT be the Bears.

They simply don't have the offense to pull it off. Minnesota is improved, but they're still not that good. Bears can go 6-0 in the weak Norris division easily; but let's see them win v NYG and SEA and whatever AFC opponents they have.

I believe they will go about 12-4 (maybe even 13-3) and get a bye. They have the easiest schedule in the NFL this year, but they will not go undefeated.

What you are really asking is.....
Do you think the Chicago Bears will have a Super Bowl ring this year?

I think even with tiny Ditka running plays, the Bears will do just what the Cubbies do every year---come out looking fabulous, then will be in the toilet by playoffs.
However, I pray for an injury free season.

Need I remind all of you Seahawks fans that the bears put up 34 points on the same detroit defense that held you to 9? This is going to be one hell of a football game. It could go either way. The bears offense is greatly improved. Defense needs to finish more tackles, but should be top ranked for the season. I think you have your hands full with this bears team.

I have been one of Rex Grossman's toughest critics, but he's raised my eyebrows this year more than once.

I think they can beat Seattle. No one takes you seriously until you smack someone of this caliber around. I feel like you don't shut out opponents unless you are for real.

Go Bears!!

I grew up with Brian Urlacher and am a big fan of the Bears, but I think their undefeated streak will end this week against Seattle. I hope not, though.

Yeah...

and Ditka alone vs. the offensive line of the Giants. Score Ditka several million, Giants zero.
