this year i am friends with some other ppl i wasnt before. so its like were a clique and there is 4 of us.but one girl i dont like and the other two i do but i dont want to be mean and exclude her and stuff because then they wont like me. i dont know what to do. i used to be friends with the "popular" girls for a little but now im not really but kind of. and they dont like j (ill say that for short) but i think i might be friends with her again but i dont want the other girls who i am newly friends with to not like me.

the worst thing you could do is not hang out with someone because other people dont like them OR hanging out when YOU dont like them.
In your life you are going to meet lots of people. You should always be around people you enjoy not because you want other people to notice. You shouldnt really think that what other people think is important- thats making them happy, not yourself.

Everyone has the desire to be liked. I understand that you don't want to rock the boat, but sometimes popularity isn't the answer. If you are truly friends with this girl, don't worry about what the other girls think. If they are meant to be true friends to you, they won't mind. Also, you are entitled to like or dislike anyone you choose. You need to be true to yourself and to hell with what other people think. Don't exclude your friend because someone else may not like them.

Get over it and be friends with who you want. They don't have to like the same people. Think about it, why are you worried they will quit being your friend for having a friend they don't like when your friends with someone they like in your clique that you don't. That's very contradicting of yourselves!!!

Teenagers are extremely mean to each other. Be friendly and treat her how you would like to be treated. That doesn't mean you have to be best buds.
