Some women are naturally hairy. If you are 13 you are probably going through puberty or nearing it. Maybe your hormones are fluctuating, and you are producing a little too much progesterone. You could talk with your pediatrician about it. There are some meds out there to balance out hormones, but at your age, I'm not sure if they are safe for you to take. Your best bet is to talk with your pediatrician about the problem. Waxing it or shaving it may cause it to grow back thicker, so I wouldn't resort to that just yet. Good Luck!

You have several options.....of course the easiest is shaving but then you have to deal with the stubble, you could also use a hair removal product like Nair. There are several out on the market. You could also try waxing, but it can hurt. Of all the above it lasts the longest before the hair grows back. And then of course there is laser hair removal that is permanent. It is probably not an option at your age but maybe in a few years it would be something to consider. It is fairly expensive but it does work. hope this helps.

Because you are young and going through puberty and these concerns are of great importance to you; you should consider seeing a doctor who can evaluate whether or not your hair growth pattern is abnormal. It's possible at your age to be experiencing a hormonal imbalance or a medical condition that's easily recognizable. Only a doctor can do that. If there are any problems or concerns you will be getting the necessary treatment and advise for it. Good Luck!

Well, you could just live with it, but if you must change it, depending on how 'bad' it is, you can bleach it (look for the brand Invisibleach in the body care section at your local drug store, make sure it's for facial hair)or you can pay Big Buck$ to have it lasered off.

Go to the drug store and buy a cream. Sally Hansen has one and its not too expensive. Buy the one for the face, its gentler. Read the directions. You put the cream on and let it stay for a few minutes then wipe it off and rinse. The hair is gone.

Your young to start being really bothered by this but you can wax or bleach it till you are old enough to have it laser hair removal. Also even though I hate the product I have heard that nair works.

I know im a guy but listen. Dont treat the appearence of dark hair....fix it. Talk to your doctor and ask him about estrogen suppliments. Your hitting puberty and your hormones may not have leveled out yet. Dont shave it. your skin will react to the abrasion and it will grow darker.

I agree, see someone to have the hair lightened...also, if you notice any problems with your menstrual cycle, or excessive weight gain, ask your doctor about PCOS...polycyctic ovary syndrome....somtimes hair can be a symtom of this condition...and it only takes a small blood test to diagnose...with hormone therapy after diagnosis, your body hair could be regulated and you would feel great about yourself!

Oh, honey that's tough. See an aesthetician, they can bleach it to make it less noticeable or wax to remove it.

You are who you are, and I would lay $$ down that you are beautiful no matter what. But if you can't see your own beauty 'cause the hair is in the way, then there are things you can do to feel better. (Excuse me, I have to go take my meds for adult acne now.)

Blessed be!

Sally Hansen makes these wax strips that are great. They also make a hair bleaching product. I would recommend these items. What ever you do DON"T shave it!!
