It is quite possible your daughter has a urinary tract infection that has backed up into her kidney. Ask her if she has other sympoms of a UTI like urinary frequency, feeling like she has to pee and can't, and burning or pain while urinating. Also ask her let you '"see" her pee and check the color (a color other than yellow or cloudiness) and see if it smells funny. I would suggest getting her to her pediatrician if it continues.

Get her checked out by a doctor. Trouble is even at eight they have difficulty in explaining pain. If it was kidney stones (this begins as back pain and then migrates to the stomach), she would be in excruciating pain by now, but there could be an infection. Better be safe than sorry.

Definitly see a urologist! By the age of 4 I was not potty trained or at least my Mom thought so, but it was that I could not fell when I had to urinate, it was accompanied with back pain & lower abdonominal pains, then when I felt like I had to go I could not hold it long enough to make it to a bathroom, I was always sick, fevers, colds, it burned when I urinated, I would finish and feel like I still had to go, etc. Nobody knew what was wrong, my Mom beat my butt, yelled & punished me cause she thought I was being lazy and not going to the bathroom, come to find out my bladder was not sending my urine....well out, it was refluxing it back into my kidneys, basically I was poisioning myself, the acid in the urine ate away more than half of my kidneys and my kidneys started to fail, I alomost died in the hospital at age 6. I remember all of this like it happened 5 minutes ago, and I resent my Mom for not taking care of me. I had surgery and it was fixed, but I still suffer from frequest UTI, & chronic kidney infections.

My son was 5 when he told me that. Not to scare you but it was his kidneys, he started puking and getting sicker, so we took him to the ER. At first they said it was his apendix, but they were not totally sure, and they were going to do a C.T. scan. It showed that he had a hydronephrosis(swollen kidney), and stones on the left side. He had a blockage between his kidney and bladder that had to be surgically corrected. If her bloodwork comes back with a high white count, demand a CT scan, no exploratory surgery.

I had the same symptoms two different times this past year and it was kidney stones. I would make an appointment with her doctor who will probably order x-rays.
Does she drink much water?

She's discover, deliver her to college, she's no longer ill. examine her temp nevertheless as quickly as she gets abode, and if it gets any decrease, then take her to the checklist. At worst, she would have low blood rigidity, whether that is no longer something life threatning.
