Everytime I try to quit i find myself buying another bloody prepade card... Even my family is buying them for me when i don't. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEONE MAKE A WOW's Anonymous. I need help beyond belief.

Buy Guild Wars!! No monthly charge and loads of fun. WoW players bash it because its level cap is 20 but there's a good reason for it. ANet may raise it at some point. Anyways...the PvP is good and PvE is whatever you make it.
Basically you get the fun of a MMORPG without the pesky expense of WoW. GW is supposed to get 2 expansions per year at $50 each. Not nearly as bad as paying by the month.

if you don't want to play then don't play if you have trouble quitting it's probably because you still want to play world of warcraft... so continue playing! it's not a damn cigarette, it's just a game. just play less if it's cramping your life. I play like 1-2 hours a week because it's fun but not more because I've got other things to do. it's not like you're more of a loser playing wow all day vs answering dumb questions all day!

I sucesfully cut down.. i actully spend alot of time here, and schedule activitys with friends even if i secretly rather be raiding.
Its worked for me so far.
If you dont play for a little it becomes less of a habit. Of course once the expansion is out i make no promises.

I use to play WOW a lot, thanks to my brother. But our internet connection was crap and I am going to college so I decided that I needed to focus on my studies. Find something tangible and fulfilling to do besides a video game.

Sounds pretty bad, but it could be worse, you could be addicted to smack or coke, so being hooked on a video game is not all that bad.

honestly man, i play alot of games and WoW is badd..lame graphics and lame play.....just uninstall and smash your discs up ... goodluck bro
