does anybody know if there are job openings for 13 or 14 year old for summer jobs or part time jobs

You can't work at 13 except in babysitting, modeling/acting, or on farms. Once you're 14, you can do a lot of other jobs with time restrictions.

I just moved from Cleveland Ohio.I have 3 teen boys.The Cleveland Board Of Education has to approve you to work.They go according to your school attendance and grades.You can get a job but not till 15.Your question was about summer jobs and sadly enough summer is over with.I do urge you to have your mom to go down to the Cleveland Board Of Education and get all the facts so when you become of age you can start working and will know all the details.

McDonalds will hire 13-14 year olds.
I think the one on Denison and Fulton is hiring.
The one on Memphis (the one by fulton parkway) always seems to be hiring too.

Usually there are jobs through the summer job program through your school. Talk to your school guidance counselor.

McDonald's in Lakewood says you have to be 15 to get hired. So, you will either have to get a job through school or do babysitting, pet bathing, or mow lawns on your own.
