2 Questions about using this card.
Does it have to be destroyed at the end of the turn it is summoned, or only if it destroys a monster?
If Relinquished's effect has taken Gaia, and Relinquish destroys a monster, it doesn't have to be destroyed because of Gaia's effect does it?

Also, does anyone know where the Yu-Gi-Oh GX God Cards are originating from, meaning which game or source can you buy them from directly new?

The moster in question is destroyed at the end phase, which means just that no matter what happens during the duel. Relinquish takes all of the attributes of the monster to whatever monster you or your oppenent decides to equip it to including the effects.
As for your second question, those cards were shown in the second season of GX. You can either find them after buying a box of "Shadow Of Infinity" (due to the rareity) or getting them in the new 2006 tins.

Well if Relinquished's effect has taken Gaia, the effect is not avtivated caues it is treated as an equip spell card!
