She knew I might leave for work while she was in the shower singing, but it sounded more like a dying bird. I hated leaving, but I just couldn't take another minute.

Despite the fact that our significant others have habits and do things that we don't like ie singing in the shower, we have to learn to find away to deal with these things.
It may be hard but find something to do that will block it out. I'm not saying it is the most pleasant noise but it is something about your wife. This is the person your going to be with for the rest of your life. Don't fight over small things. Life is to short to fight over small stuff.
Remember if you want her to respect you, you inturn must respect her!!!

You should wait a few days. Let the emotions simmer down a bit. She's probably very hurt right now and does not want to see you. But I would not wait more than 3 days, because otherwise she'll feel rejected by you. But yes, apologize. It would be the manly thing to do.

all i can say is you have so much time in your hand, go find a decent job, you are the guy that going to this web site and have whole bunch of stupid questions about anything that your little brain can think of and post it up so others can reply your question, i dont think you have a job at all, so go get a job and be happy with your own life instead of complain like little BEA@@@@@@@@@TCH......... i wouldn't be supprise if you came out of the closet either
