You never know, he may be your true love. Not every kiss will be like that, I guarantee it. If you have a long history together which you may, it makes sense to stay in touch with him. The chemistry you two have may be more than you can understand right now until you meet other men and realize it is the real thing.
I have a friend from India who left India for the US to study. He had a girlfriend when he left, stayed in touch and after 5 years of studying, he went back to India, got married to her and is now back in the US working as is she. He loved her when he left and there was no one else for him in the US or India.
Whatever happens, just let it happen. It really does all work out.

Beleive me, it seems like it now...but as time goes on and you meet new people, it will get easier, and although you'll always remember your first kiss....you'll soon realize that there are many more kisses to look forward to. Besides, if he really is "the One" for you...you will meet again, regardless of what happens in between...so have fun...enjoy the states, and then go back and see if your man has been waiting for you....just don't stay too hung up on it to enjoy life in the meantime!

There is no point in going for higher studies, if you are not able to forget your boy.fr. You will not be able to concentrate on your studies, if you love him upto that extent. Don,t stay divided in life. The best thing would be is not to go america and pursue your studies at the place your boyfriend stays. Good Luck

Yeah, you don't ever really forget, but as you meet, and start to enjoy the company of other guys your ability to love only grows. Chances are you'll like someone just as much, if not more eventually.
Give your heart some time to heal, and just enjoy yourself here in the U.S.
best wishes

Treasure that memory and remember it as much as you want.
Write the guy letters and write about him in your journal.
Dream about that moment as much as you like. And you can slowly see where your life will go. You will not know everything right now about what your life holds in the future. You just have these feelings right now so cherish them.
