Comment he made Sept 30th of 05.
This is crazy and a very extreem comment that he had made.....
1. Blacks make up well beyond the majority of prisons in the United States.
2. They are responsible for most thefts, murders muggings etc....
3. Blacks have the highest AIDS mortality rate of all demographics
YET..... they are the minority....
This is something most don't speak of and I was curious on everyone's honest opinion of the issue......

He was saying NOTHING about race and EVERYTHING about abortion.
He was pointing out that you shouldn't use "utilitarian" arguments for, or against, abortion. He believes it's wrong, period.
For whatever reason (racism, or any other reason) blacks are overrepresented in our criminal population. Bennett was merely trying to show how gruesome it sounds to advocate "getting rid" of people, in any context.
What's funny is that all the pro-choice people jumped on him, saying he was a racist. That's hypocritical of them, since they claim it's only a "clump of cells." And THEY are the ones saying it's better to have abortions than to raise kids in poverty. Blacks are disproportionately poor, too.
So who exactly is the racist?

The comments that he made are 100% Accurate, however, you must remember that all children are born pure. It comes all back to parents, black white whatever. Parenting, or lack there of is the number one reason for the crime rate in the United States today.
No person ever has the right to make a statement like that. If his statement was taken literally at all, there would be no one left in the US, because white America, still Murders people, they have AIDS, and they are in prisons. While we do not make up as high of a percentage as our African American brothers and Sisters, we still make up a percentage non-the-less. So Should all White Babies be aborted?

I think Bill Bennett is a pig for saying that!
He tried to come back like we had misunderstood the comment.
About 940,000 black or mixed children will be aborted this year. Think about that! And the blacks are primarily Democrat, the blacks are behind the political party that celebrates the slaughter of their own unborn brothers and sisters!
Planned Parenthood (the nations #1 abortion provider) was founded by a racist backwards thinker who referred to blacks as "human weeds" and purposely set out to eliminate "the ***** poulation".
Abortion is an act of evil and violence that destroys a real baby.
Keep the crime rate down by aborting children? How moronic.
Think about this: the doctor who was to discover the cure for cancer could have already been aborted...wiped away from history in the name of womens rights, sick and scary.

Yes he is in theory right but it is a very irresponsible thing to say. He is stating where all "blacks" would go to crime. A statement could go to counter white collar crimes all rich casacian babys should be aborted because they make up the majority of white collar criminals. Both statements have statistics to prove it but are so generalized that they are stated merely to fuel hatred.

He's essentially right however ....
He (being a Catholic) has stated clearly that this is not his opinion. Hell if you wanted to you can extend such a holocaust to include working class and unemployed males younger than 50, hispanics etc. All of this would lower crime but NOBODY in their right mind would advocate it.

Did you think that you'd bring it to people who hadn't seen or heard it before and anger them?
It was obviously stupid that he said that, and if it was his opinion he probably should have kept it off of the air.

He might have a point, but I think he was talking about unwed black girls or women having too many babies out of wedlock and no father's to take care of the babies.
