Wait - is that the name of the song that became the base for Ice Ice Baby?? I was wondering what that was called. I haven't been able to get it out of my head since they used it in the series premiere of 'Studio 60' last week! Thank you!!
In answer to your question - he may. But Ice Ice Baby was a hot song while it lasted...even if it wasn't that long...did he have permission to use the original song? Sorry I was really young when that all went down. All I know was that I hated all the other songs on my Vanilla Ice tape.

No...lots of hip-hop artists have bastardized good songs...he's going to hell for trying to convince people that the bassline in his song wasn't really the same as the one from Under Pressure.

Being a big fan of Queen (as I am), I wasn't pleased with that kind of arrangement to such a great bass line.
