I know we women have to fill out all sorts of paperwork when we get married to reflect the name change and all but, since the man doesn't change his name does he have to fill out anything after marriage to show that he's not single anymore?

You both fill out the marriage license. This is a legal document that you keep forever. The other paperwork you speak of is used only if you change your name.

The only thing your new husband would have to change would be: his Last Wlll and Testament (if he has one or wants to leave his possessions to anyone other than the spouse); Beneficiary on insurance policies, bank accounts, IRAs, or other retirement accounts; of course his bank account if he adds you on there; add the spouse to insurance policies through work; and make changes on homeowners and auto insurance if necessary. Wow! I guess a man has to deal with a lot of brain damage, too!!

No he doesn't need to fill out any forms. Only women need to since they usually change their last name. You may need to show proof of marriage (copy of license) for insurances. That's about it for him. (Our car insurance went down when we got married)
