I totally agree with you.
When I see that Johnathon Ross is paid £18 Million for a three year contract it makes my blood boil,and of course you have Weather Presenters being paid £200,000 each year for doing pathetic reports.
All this out of our licence fees, Get Rid I say!!!

Within the market that is celebrity the BEEB has to compete with the other channels.
Being pedantic here, but it's not the taxpayers money, its the licence fee payers money.
Completely different ideas.

there was an article a few weeks back which showed how much the radio presenters on Radio 1 were paid and its nothing compared with some of the celebs on TV and i think that they entertain the british public much more than the like of some tv personalities
