I have asked my boyfriend of 2 years if he still loves me like he says.. He always says yes. But why is it when i ask him to spend a little more time with me.. he always has an excuse.. Like I'm in a poker tourny(online) or i can't because my show is on. He mostly hangs out with this one friend of his.,(thats a male). I know he's not cheatin. but he says he wants to be with me forever and wants to have a family.. but it doesn't sound or look like it anymore.. the first year we were together was great.. now it's sorta just lets do what he wants. I had just lost my job and had to go back to my dad's I'm tryin so hard to get another job and get my own place. hopefuly that would help a little. also all my close friends don't live around here anymore so it's not like I can go hang out with them like he can with his friends. I go with him while he shoots pool on wed night for pool league, and Friday nights are our movie night.. and he'll stay here on sat night.. I'm about ready to give up.

he is just doing what all of us men do when you women give us what we want we get comfortable in the relationship and think we no longer have to work or care about it. really if you are there for him all the time he Will notice this and know that when ever he needs you boom you're there.but to answer your ? yes more then likely he still loves you very much

I am having the exact same problem. My boyfriend of 2 years is the same deal, but i am off at college. He doesn't make time for me anymore. I haven't heard from him in 4 days. Last year he called me everyday. I am wondering if we are just in this stage of comfortness, and everything is fine or if he is losing interest. Two years was a long investment and you probably have alot of really good memories, and it is hard to give it all up. I don't really know your situation all that well but I can tell you what I am doing: I am not calling him, if he misses me then he can call. I have considered us broken up (I don't wear my ring, took down all pics, etc.) but I don't want to date anyone else. I guess I am just waiting for it to fix itself, and hopefully it will. Just do what your heart tells you. Next time you talk to him ask him what is going on and if he still feels the same way he did. then explain why you think he doesnt. ask him where he wants the relationship to go. You have two good nights a week together. That is more then a lot of people have after two years. Have him teach you pool. You will spend more time together.
Try to find some friends for some of ther other days.
Everyone needs some space from each other. It is healthy. You don't want to spend 24/7 or you will get sick of him.

Well i'm sorry but it sounds like you are right about him not showing you that he really loves you. But whst I would do is break the rutine do somethimg diferent when you see each other go to boomers race!! go dancing,just get out of the movies .
Tell him to forget about his show for once and take you out you are supposed to be more important to him than his online gaming and shows.

If you have doubts you already know the answer. It's possible that you're ready to settle down and he isn't. Or are you just too dependent on him instead of having your own life? Or.... are you making it too easy for him to have it both ways?
