Firstly it is Get pregnant not catch. I had my period 3 months before i missed and found out i was 3 1/2 pregnant On very rare cases a women can have a period throughout there pregnancy. Like i said RARE. It isn't uncommon to spot during pregnancy though. With my 2nd child i was on the patch and using protection when I got pregnant. Although some birth controls can make you stop your period all together. So if you think there is even a slight chance you might be pregnant go to the doctor.

Alright, here we go.....the "norm" is for your period to stop when conception occurs. Some women, like my mother with her first pregnancy, continue to experience their menstrual cycle. She had hers' for 7 months. This may mean that something is wrong, but as my mum can tell you, having delivered that baby healthy and then 5 more, it doesn't always mean there is a problem.

And secondly, becoming pregnant while using contraception of any form, other than abstinence, does not mean something is terribly wrong. No form of birth control, except abstinence, is 100 % effective. Different types of contraceptive pills are anywhere from 96% to 99% effective, meaning 1% to 4% of women still get pregnant while taking them. If You don't want a baby, don't have sex, it's that simple.

if you are on the pill and you happen to get pregnant there is something truly wrong first of all but if you become pregnant you shouldn't come on your period but i guess it depends on some people bodies because some people come on there period every month and their pregnant so the best thing for you to do is find out from a doctor to make sure your ok and the baby.

You can catch a pregnancy, it is not a disease or cold. No normally when you are pregnant you will not have a period. You however may have bleeding which may or may not be normal.

I hope you didn't catch an STD with that because apparently you didn't use a condom. I've said it before and I'll say it again if you are worried about getting pregnant DON'T HAVE SEX.

If you're pregnant, it would not be normal for you to have a full period. You may have some spotting and if you do, tell your doctor.
