a compound consists 2 or more atoms which may belong to the same or a different element chemically combined with one another. Organic compounds usually refer to Hydrocarbons and their derivatives. what exactly do u mean by types of organic compounds? If u mean saturated and unsaturated, then, examples of saturated are methane, ethane, etc and examples of unsaturates are Ethene, propene, ethyne, propyne, etc.
based on the type of functional group present, organic compounds may further be divided into many, many more categories.
