I know we are supposed to trust our mates/spouses or a best friend, but do you? Could you tell any one person in your life absolutely anything and know it would be okay? Could you rely on this person to stand by you no matter what?

I trust nobody completely from the perspective of being able to tell them anything... I can think of at least three things off the top of my head that I can never tell anyone and know they would be okay with it...

In order for you to need that much trust, you must have many secrets you want to hide from the world!
Since I have very few secrets to hide, I just let everything be known. Basically, everyone knows a lot about me, so what is there to hide? I have no secrets! And any secrets I have my brothers or sisters spill to everyone!

I would only trust very close family members with whom I have a blood relationship and vested interest in each other's well being.

sad to say but the only one I truly trust is my mother.
although I am married, relationships come and go, and there is no absolute guarantee that things may eventually sour.....it does upset me to feel that way, but its reality.
