I already have a router, lost original instructions. Just need a diagram to follow, please.

i dont know where there is a diagram but it is very easy.
depending on how near or far the pc's are you might want to go wireless.
1st you need a filter on the phone jack then run the phone cord from the filter to the dsl modem. now your going to need a ethernet cable to run from the modem to a router. that cable should go into the internet port. not one of the numbered ports.
now you need an ethernet cable going from the #1 port on the router to one of the computers. then another ethernet cable from port #2 to the other pc. if the other one is far away like i said you might want to go wireless. anyway once you have it hooked up like that both pc's will be able to get online.good luck

connect the two one in each of them and run the community Setup Wizard... tell it it rather is a Peer-to-Peer (advert Hoc) community. stick to the on exhibit guidelines and on the tip determine you're saying absolute to report/Printer Sharing. on the laptop, you're gonna could enable ICS (information superhighway connection sharing) so the computer can use the DSL.

You need a router to accomplish this.....instructions will be provided with the router.
