Getting higher rankings in the search engines is a very complex business. You might want to go through the Search Engine Submission Tips linked to in the sources section...
http://searchenginewatch.com/webmasters/...

OR..
well its been said as...they take your websites as on wht you have on keywords plus description (which together is being called Meta tags
but wait a min! it's been a technique that search engines used in past like 3-5 years ago now they largely depends on number of impotant link of other websites do you have on your website.

*Dang!! Good news is Google now has a service called Google Sitemaps. With that you can get listed in Google under 3 days.

there are few points tht i wld like to reveal ...

1- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is not about fooling search engines to raise your site ranking
2- I highly suggest that you seek help from a professional SEO expert since it is not an easy task to get top rankings on reputable search engines including Google, Yahoo.. etc
3- The SEO professional will follow the right methodology and clear strategy to build your site profile over time (usually 3 to 6 months is a fair time frame)
4- If you try to trick search engines you'll most likely get a penalty that will result in your site being removed from results or at the best pushed down dramatically.
5- META tags are not as important as they once where
6- You can still submit your site for free to all Search Engines you mentioned above but with no guarantee to when or if they will appear in searches.
7- Usually it could take around 1 month for your site to start appearing on such engines.
*8- Don't use automatic software that promises the sky or particularly generate fake doorway pages because you'll definitely get a penalty.
**9- You need to write good, grammatically correct, and useful content
10- Check this link for information on how to submit your site to Google http://www.google.com/support/webmasters...
11- Submitting to directories is also very useful and compliments your ranking as in most cases you choose the subtopics to be listed under.

and i have friend in Detroit software bussiness he wrote few articles and there is link where you can download tht free ebook
i had mentioned those links under tht source...

have a nice day!!

Your site seems like something you put on a business card, or something to show people who you are. Having good SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is not required because you don't offer any service or product that needs to be a top search result for google.
