A horse and a snake? No. They are genetically too dissimilar.
However, a goat and a sheep can breed... you get an animal called a "Geep" . Goats have 60 chromosomes and sheep have 54, therefore the resulting offspring has 57. This mismatch results in sterility. there are also lion/tiger crosees called ligers and tigons, that are also sterile. Then you have the old standby mule which is the sterile offspring of a horse/donkey cross.
So it is possible, but only if the two animals are very similar in genetics in the first place.
A horse is a mammal and a snake a reptile, so they are way too different to interbreed.

The horse and a snake is too much -) But the horse and donkey - yes. I read that in Stalin's Russia, they've tried to mix monkeys with humans. They were taking monkeys sperm and inserting into women to try to get a superhuman - someone with no brain power but very physically strong and without fear. You can imagine what this was for - of course they were trying to create a "universal soldier". However, that didn't work.

Normally no, but animals that are closely related can sometimes mate and produce "hybrids". Examples are horse x donkey = mule. It has also happened with dolphins and whales, lion and tigers, sheep and goats.

The male and female nucleus's won't mix. Maybe scientist would be able to mix animals with the same number of chromosome's in the future

No it is not possible.
On the other had a tiger and a lion can produce a cub, but this cub would be infertile. Like the mule.
