I hear alot of Crowing, especially on Fox Entertainment (not news), they sat around patting each other on the back with that phony enthusiasm routine, the one usually done on infomercials selling miracle products.

You actually think that "right-wingers" are in control of the world's oil supplies (factor prices)? OPEC countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuiwait and then there's Venezuela are the real "puppet masters!"
These guys aren't exactly forces loyal to George Bush and or other IDU world leaders. Oil prices are going down based on the fact that the summer driving season is over, news about mid east volatility is now old and no longer spooking investors, there wasn't a Hurricane Katrina this year to hinder production in the Gulf of Mexico, drilling in the arctic reserve wil soon be a reality, we're getting closer and closer to more hybrid cars and renewable sources of energy and the companies know it, "Madman Chavez" is helping out the US consumer in an attempt to buy influence here.
Its just so happens that we'll be voting in 6 weeks. Newsflash, Bush isn't running this time! Anybody who thinks that Karl Rove is engineering this is likely to believe that someone's hiding Hitler's body in his basement!

I've never seen any Republican bragging about oil prices going down. Most are smart enough to know that if they are responsible for the drop in prices they must have been responsible for the increase in prices. Thats a pretty dangerous game to play with elections around the corner and control of the House and Senate at stake.
Your views lead me to believe you are not the FoxNews type of guy. But FYI, the news programs are top rate, it is the talk segments that are hopelessly biased, but no different from any other editorial providers.

i haven't seen anyone brag about it. anyone who knows about the oil market could have predicted that prices would drop. The end of summer always brings about a drop because the summer is the busiest driving season and when it's over the demand fro oil goes down since we drive less.

Good point Master G, and i bet GWB will try his best to make the American people believe that he made a difference for the best. Even when the CIA finally admits what we have known to be true all along: the fact that the "War on Terror" has increased the instability of the middle east and made us less safe.

Haven't mentioned them myself. Gas prices always rise during the summer months, I didn't find it unusual, guess that's why I didn't *****.

Democrats worked so hard stopping drilling so gas prices would go up.
And Democrats are Mad that prices have went down.
But, don't give up hope. The Democrats will work hard to sabotage the country and get prices back up.
