have got glue on the sofa cushion which can not be removed to wash and am having to hide it with magazines

You could try an acetone based product such as nail varnish remover. Or you can buy a freeze spray and pick it off.

Go to Home Depot, Lowe's or a hardware store and get one of two Products. 1) Goof Off. 2) Goo Gone. Works wonders on almost anything. Terrible smell, use outside or open windows. Will work great!!

Freeze the glue with an icepack, until the glue is so hard it could shatter, then pry it off.

you buy from chemist its really cheap it dissolves false nail glue which is pretty much same as super glue so cant see why it wont work
