with bidding auctions always set yrself a limit and a realistic one that u feel is within yr budget even thou u really want the item u can never guarentee how many others are interested as well!!! is this item really worth putting a max of 1000 on how do u know that the buyer mite not up the bid them self to try and gain more money its been known!!! u were rite to only bid 50 and if it goes for more u have to let go im sure the item is not 1 in a million im sure other sellers will have the item on ebay

yes .you retract your bid (reason:wrong bid amount) and re-bid with lower bid.

A bid is a binding contract. Except under special circumstances, bid retraction is not permitted. Furthermore, misuse of the bid retraction option to manipulate the bidding process is not permitted. This includes any manipulation of the bidding process to discover the maximum bid of the current high bidder or to uncover the reserve price.

Breaches of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

Listing cancellation

Limits on account privileges

Account suspension

Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings

Loss of PowerSeller status

Nope, you made the bid and entered into a legal contract with the seller. Plan your bids better in the future.

Nope. Email ebay or the seller. Or look at the ebay guidelines.

you can retract your bid, but it does go against you for future bidding ie in feedback ect.
