I think you should tell your friend that if you like someone you will tell him yourself. Then go and tell the guy that you dont like him it is just a rumor your friend started. If you are afraid of hurting him then say something about not knowing him and it isnt personal. Then tell her not to put words in your mouth and ask her to talk to you before starting rumors like that. If she is a friend she will understand. I hope this helps!

It does not seem that she is a friend putting you in situations that you do not want to be in, sounds like she likes a lot of drama, you need to ask yourself if this "friendship" is worth all the hassel, she is lying about you and she could put your life in danger one day with someone you do not even know.

Ask her why she said that. Maybe there's a reason for why she did that. Sometimes friends make up stuff to be the center of attention and she used you as the bait. My friends do that all the time.

Tell her you don't like when she does that and ask her to stop. I have a friend who does stuff to me all the time and I don't get mad but if I were to do it to her she would have a fit, so just talk to her. Oh and if the guy says something to you just tell him that you not being mean but she was just joking.

either ignore the situation with him.
Tell him the truth about how you feel even if it's akward
But you really need to tell your friend how you feel if she is lying all the time you need to figure out if she is worth calling a friend
