My eye has been twitching off and on for over a week now. Does that just happen sometimes, or should I be worried? I have had it twitch before, but never for this long. It is kind of annoying me.

Mine has done it for several weeks at a time, but not constant. I asked my Dr. and he said it is just a "jumpy nerve" and was not at all concerned with it. It will go away, he said. Mine did but still once in a while shows up. If you are worried, I would at least call an optician and ask.
A astigmatism is one eye being off in an up or down position. Not anything to do with a jumpy nerve or vitamin deficiency. I never heard of it being vitamins, I will have to try that too, next time

Its actually a vitamin deficiency. I think it has to do with your potassium or magnesium. Try drinking V8, low sodium if you don't feel like taking vitamin pills. Mine does it off and on until I get up and actually do something about it lol. It's nothing really bad though.
If you really can't seem to get it to stop after a few more days or it gets worse, talk with your doctor, as he may need to run some tests to see if you have a deficiency somewhere else.

I have the same thing....looked it up and if it is not constant, but still is enough to bug you, it is probably stress related in some capacity..but if it gets more urgent, call your doctor
