I am 35 weeks pregnant and my boobs are a size 36 D. I was a 34 B before I was pregnant. My boobs are still growing. Will they shrink back to what they were or will I stay the same after I have the baby. I wont be breastfeeding either, by the way.

They'll shrink.....I was a 34 D at 35 weeks pregnant (my baby was born at 35 weeks). He is 6 months old now. I stopped producing milk when he was 5 1/2 months old and my chest shrunk back to 32 B.

Well, I'm not sure if breastfeeding makes a difference, because I did and am breastfeeding. But between the times I wasn't breastfeeding mine didn't ever go back down to what I was before I first got pregnant. I'm not sure if it's from the extra weight I'm carrying or not. But I was a 34B before pregnancy, then I was a 38D when I was nursing, and a 36C when I wasn't nursing.

They will get back to normal size but they will be anything but the normal way they use to look.... Chances are your breast will be a lot less firm but maybe you'll get lucky.
Why are you not breastfeeding??? I hope it has nothing to do with you worrying about how your breast will look due to breastfeeding! It is best for your baby.

they will shrink, but maybe not all the way back to 34B.Breastfeeding will keep them larger for longer. Not that I'm fanitcal or anything, but you are aware that if you can breastfeed for at least 3 months you provide your baby with invaluble antibodies, vitamins, and nutrients. I do know there are somepeople that can't, but I would suggest to at least try, especially for the first few days when the breast produces(I forget the name) but it's clear and that has the most antibodies that is best for the baby.

I was the same size as you. I breastfed for a year. Six months after I stopped breastfeeding, they went back to original size. Sorry!

Chances are that your breasts will go back to close to your original size. It depends on how much of the size increase is from milk production and how much is from weight gain. You might find they get smaller as you lose the baby weight.

I would guess it is the same as wen a guys penis shrinks when cold. Reduced blood flow to the area. But I am in no way sure. This is just a guess.

They will shrink after they get the signal that you are done breastfeeding. If you go back to your pre-pregnancy weight they will be back to what they were. If don't totally lose your weight, they will proportionately be a little bigger because of your extra fat.

Everyone is different! I know some friends who actually lost a cup compared to orginal size, some went back to same and I actually gained a cup size after it was all said and done. Just wait and see!
