I had the same thing happen to me at 3 months and my daughter was born full term, normal size and healthy. When it happened, I went to the ER and was told to stay off my feet for a week. I did, and 3 weeks later, it happened again. I had to stay off my feet for another week. There was no rhyme or reason for it, it just happened. Please see you Dr., just in case and congrats!

well, there could be a tear in the cervix, or it could not have an explanation. I bled all the way through with my daughter, but I had 4 miscarriages before she was born. Just stay off your feet, relax, and drink plenty of water. Talk to the Dr, and see about getting on Baby Aspirin. My Dr told me that as long as the bleeding was not excessive, (soaking a overnight pad in an hour) and that there was not any cramping then not to worry about it. Go to the Dr though, don't take the advice of us on here...

depends on what type of bleeding you are doing. I was told by my doc. that some spotting and so on could be normal. I know women who actually had their period for three months into the pregnancy. But, I also wouldnt take any chances and get to the doc. or ER at once because its not okay to take any chances with your baby. Hope everything works out well for you!

I don't have a definite answer for you but just wanted to let you know that I bled during my 3rd month of pregnancy with my 2nd child and they never did figure out what caused it but I carried her to full term & she was perfectly healthy. She is now 21 years old & pregnant with her first child. She is due Oct 16. If it continues call your doctor but hopefully it is nothing at all. Good luck!

If it's just spotting, a little blood when she wipes and not bleeding, it could be the cervix being irritated. The blood vessels are dilated & easily bleed.
You definitely need to get her to the Dr. to see if she's having a miscarriage.
Good luck.

if it's a lot, go to the hospital immediately. if you're spotting, sometimes that happens. lots of activity, sex...things can trigger it. i had some spotting during my pregnancy and i now have a happy and healthy 9 month old son but, i would call the dr.

It could be that you are effacing, which means your mucus plug is thinning. I would call or go see your doctor. I had the same thing happen to me. I went to the doctor even though I wasn't hurting, just to find out I was four centimeters dilated
