No there was no 2006 Convertible Eclipse.
2007 is the first year the new body style is sold in Convertible form.

No. 2006 was the first year of the new generation, so there was no Convertible until 2007.

They've made Spyder Eclipses in the year 2006, but the year of the car is considered to be 2007. Still, you can purchase a Spyder Eclipse now if you have the money and the desire to have one.

No, there were no 06 Eclipse Convertables.
All Mitsu did was offer special deals on the 05 Eclipse Conertables when the new coupes came out.

The real answer to your questions is right here: Although they manufacture models in the 2007 Logo year only, the actual year of manufacturing and release is 2006. As there are many now on the road, and it is not obviously 2007 yet.

considering my husband works for a mitsu dealership and i have seen the convertibles in the showroom for at least 4 months now, i would say YES
