I understand your anger. You are mad that a child of 16 was put on the street to make this guy some easy money. Frustrated because you wonder where her parents were. Wonder why at the age of 16 the girl did not have better sense than to prostitute herself for some jerk..

Easy.... She could be a runaway, defiant child, have emotional problem or be a throwaway. At 16 she would have hopefully learned more selfrespect and selfworth but we have no clue what her short life has been.

The parent may or may not be in the picture. It's an unknown.

The bus driver is an entirely different story. He has taken advantage of her one way or another. I hope he will not only be charged with pandering but also some form of child abuse.

Can't really blame the kid only, and not even just the parents. They might well have tried every way possible to keep her off the street or they might have tossed her out. You just never know what sends a person to this point in life.

16 is also an age where you can be easily coerced by a smooth-talking adult...that's why we don't let people sign contracts and they aren't usually legally responsible until they're 18. Of course everybody is different and matures at their own rate, but our society considers 16 still a child and able to be manipulated by adults.
You probably also don't know the whole story. Did the pimp tell her that unless she put out he would kill her family or make some other threats? Did he beat her into submission? Did he pretend to be in love with her? People will often do things they know are wrong if they're threatened, if they've lost their will, or if they're in love -- and even more so when you don't have adult judgement yet. Seems to me you're being awfully judgemental here...

a lot of ppl. dont have a choice when it really comes down too it. sometimes the pimp makes it look like it is a beautiful life and it would make her rich. so oncwe she got into the whole shabang of things, yeah she knows its not right, but once your in it, it's tough to get out. no matter what any one says. it's tough. pimps wont exactly let you leave, and your family ostrizes you, it's tough. but they always know its right or wrong, they have feelings, and that's why a lot of them end up on drugs. a temporary escape from the guilt they feel

i agree with the first three answers.
You don't know what these girls have gone through and why they are prostitutes, Many are kicked out of home, Have to live on the streets and the only way that they can get housing is to live with their pimps.
The psychological effect on these children would be enormous.
You don't find that millionaire parents have prostitutes for children. It is usually poorer families.
Untill you have been there & done that, You can be in the position to imply it is " Her fault".

you don't know what that girl went through. You can't just go and judge her like that. Get your info straight before you open your ugly mouth to say something about someone you don't know.
