I am 24 yrs old and i have been trying to get prgnant for the past 6 mnths now. A friend of mine recently told me to get a message that maybe my uterus is too weak, or its out of place her sister went with this lady and she massaged her back and stomach for 1 week and became pregnant with in the month. Any suggestions?

Are you by chance, overweight?

Losing 10 pounds can help.

Have you seen a fertility specialist?

See your obgyn....he might find that your tubes are blocked, in which case he would prescribe a hysterosalpingogram where they shoot dye into your fallopian tubes via your uterus. This allows them to take an image and see if the dye goes completely through your tubes.

I know 3 gals who have had this done. Many times the dye injections blasts all the cobwebs out of your tubes and you can get pregnant immediately following your test.

Do you monitor your Basal body temperature, etc, to find out when you are ovulating? That might be the best way to start. Maybe you aren't having intercourse at the right time?

I've also read that Chiropractic care can help you conceive. I go regularly and it took me 13 months to conceive my daughter and I'm in my 5th month ttc again. I would forget the myths and make an appointment with your OBGYN. There could be a medical reason why you aren't conceiving. It's best to get yourself checked out - as well as your partner. Good luck!

1st of all, were you on any birth control prior to you "trying" to get pregnant? I have heard that if you were on birth control and get off of them, then try to conceive, it can take almost a year. I have friends that have gone through the same thing. Otherwise, just have sex every night and don't get out of bed right away to let it run out. Put your legs in the air for a few minutes. (tee hee - sounds funny but it has been known to work).

Go see your doctor, s/he will suggest what to do next. Most won't send you to a fertility specialist until you've been trying for a year.
