Whitelight....you are exactly the responder I was looking for. I knew at least one person would find this question offensive (as if it were geared towards them). Based on the subastance of your response, I'd say you're one paranoid cookie. And...most importantly, weren't you boosting your own ego by belittling me and "others" to your own level of understanding?

I would say ignorance mainly because most people don't want to educate themselves which makes them stupid.... This is just My opinion...

Why do you worry about other people. You may think your smart, and intelligent. However if people were to talk to you, and judge you they might consider you stupid, and ignorant.
Isn't it ignorant that people judge others to be stupid or unintelligent? If they were intelligent, they would realize how lame it is to judge people.
You do not know another person until you walk in their shoes FROM BIRTH. You never know why a person is not on your level of intelligence. Maybe when they were children they were kept in their attics with no food, and fed bleach. Maybe their fathers beat their head in with his fist every other day and it damaged their brain. What do you know about someone to judge them?
Is it to much to live your own life, and stop worrying about others. Seriously do you all think you are that perfect, that you have some authority to make that judgment. They are here to live their lives just like you. Stupid or not nobody is superior to anyone else. So maybe all that judge can go take a look in the mirror. There is always something you don't know. If a lawyer and doctor don't know how to work a TV, or coffee pot. Does that make them stupid or ignorant?
Think what you want about me. I do have issues with people that are out to hurt other people, and their feelings for no reason. This type of question does just that. It's really just sad because it seems that so many people are like this. Why is it so easy to be mean to others. It feels so much better to be nice.

Ignorance can be remedied with knowledge but stupidity cannot and worst of all there are no limits to stupidity. Just when you think you have heard about the stupidest thing someone does something stupider. There is a book called the Darwin Awards with stories of the really stupid antics of our fellow Homo Sapiens.

Ignorance is worse because most people are too set in their ways to change. Often with ignorance there is a bit of stupidity, but that can't always be helped.

Put another way - uneducated or "mentally challenged". First is a choice, second a handicap you can't do much about. So I'd say the first, ignorance, since that's a choice and an extremely poor one at that.

In my opinion they are the same thing. Neither one would be a quality to any one. stupidity entertains Ignorance, go see the new knoxville movie and look around you. You will be entertained!

Ignorace is worse! Stupid people I feel sorry for... ignorant people annoy the hell out of me!
They act in ways that are inconsiderate to others, dont think about what they say & do, and can be insulting.

I think that stupidity is worse, because it shows that people don't care to educate themselves. Ignorance is the absence of not knowing, which is not a persons fault.

Stupidity is much worse than ignorance. Being stupid is one of the worst attributes one could posses. Ignorance can be changed and fixed, but being stupid really can't be changed. Also sometimes ignorance is bliss.
