He certainly believes he is above any international laws (Geneva Convention) and he apparently believes he is above the 4th Amendment (illegal warantless wire-tapping)

There is no Mr. Bush Jr. in American politics. If you are refering to President George W. Bush then the answer is no he does not. Like all other Presidents, Bush is doing what he believes to be in the best interest of the country and the judiciary is doing thier job by keeping him in check.

We have not impeached him for one major reason. We cannot prove he committed an impeachable offence. Until a case can be brought against him, there will be no impeachment. Impeachment is very different from a vote of no confidence in a parlimentary system.

Can you clearly decipher what, if any, of the adminstration's policies or actions have flouted constitutional law and therefore demand an impeachment process to be conducted?

Can you tell me what good would come of Mr. Cheney assuming the presidency in '07 and thereby becoming the lead candidate for the '08 GOP nomination?

Can you tell me if you have ANY vested interest in American politics, or just come on here because life where you are is boring or oppressive and this is your ventilation of personnel and internal strife?

He's not above the constitution, nor does he think he is.

He does follow it, and strictly as it was meant to be written.

Unfortunately, liberal judges have recently decided to "interpret" things into the constitution that aren't there, in an attempt to make it seem he is subverting the constitution.

Nothing in US law gives rights to anyone other than citizens of the united states.

Nothing in law preventst the NSA from maintaining a phone call database, in point of fact, a 1972 privacy law specifically allows it.

However judges have ruled both of those "unconstitutional" which is the judicial system abusing their power and trying to steal the job of the legislative branch, i.e. creating laws.

Two reasons for no impeachment:

1. Many who might call for impeachment are getting what they want keeping silent while the war crimes continue. They truly are willing to "make a deal with the devil".

2. Most of those who want to call for impeachment are spineless and afraid of looking wishywashy. Very few US politicians were willing to speak out against Shrub's rhetoric in October 2001 for fear of facing McCarthy-like accusations. Two TV hosts, Bill Maher and Phil Donahue spoke out, making statements that have proven to be 100% true, and look what happened to them: their shows were cancelled and both were kept
off TV for more than a year in Maher's case, and long in Donahue's.

Bill Maher said that the hijackers who stayed on the planes and died were not cowards because they were willing to die for their beliefs. For that, he was censored and silenced.

Now read the cowardly, chilling, and anti-democratic rhetoric of Ari "Roy Cohn wannabe" Fleischer from 2001:

Most presidents do.

Read "The Constitution in Exile", a book by Judge Andrew Napolitano.

It explores how the constitution has been ignored and mis-interpreted over the years.

cia and nsa wiretapping. google echelon or carnivore- no border security-ins and border patrol run from exec. branch- though your wording is incendiary and the tone of the question itself is more that of a statement than a question, i must sadly concur with your conclusion. Mr. Bush seems to care far too little for the law and the oath he took to protect and defend.>don't, however, mistake this statement to be disapproving of anything going on in the middle east. It is now and always will be my opinion that he UNDER reacted to islam. It (islam) is the single most dangerous thing on earth. and it must be anihilated. more dangerous than chinese aggression, more dangerous than the soviet union ever was more dangerous than even nazi germany was. it has survived from the dusty, moldy anals of antiquity to the modern day because it is fueled by hatred. it will take us all back to antiquity if it wins, and those who fight it in a losing cause would be murdered. *apologies-wild tangent* but yes, i agree. he cares too little for the law.
