Start off by checking out your state high school athletic organization...You have to start low to earn your stripes, so to speak. After that, to get up to college and NFL - or even good high school games - it becomes a political game...

I am not 100% on this one, but I think that you have to start at the bottom. You have to work at the Jr high and High school level to build up a reputation and experience. When you have these, you can move up to the Jr College level and then to the big schools. When you have a reputation built up, I would think that then you could apply for the pro level. But then again I think that they have local refs for each city so GOOD LUCK

you need to work your way up, start by refereeing high school or little league games, and get your experiance, then once you get your reputation up to a certain level in high school and go to championship games, colleges will come knocking, then pros.... it takes time
