Has anyone out there ever been pregnant and started to cramp with no bleeding and then bleeding came along later?

I have been cramping since 8:30am and no bleeding. Some people say its round ligament pain but when I read about it online, it says the pain isnt' consistent and goes away.

I'm somewhat worried cause I have been consistently cramping for about 6 hours and no bleeding so I'm not sure what I'm going through.

Just wondering if there is a possiblity that I may eventually have a miscarriage since the pains arent gone or going away and I've had a miscarriage before but there was no cramping.

Has anyone went through cramping first without bleeding and still had a miscarriage?

Thanks for your response.

I had cramping the first three months of my pregnancy. Believe me I know its scary. I never had any bleeding, but there are people who do experience it as well. Its just your uterus growing and making room for the baby. I would def. go to the ER just to make sure that its not a miscarriage though because it is always a possibility. I hope that everything turns out okay for you.

I have personally had a miscarriage with no cramping or bleeding. Now i have two children and while pregnant with my first child I had cramping then bleeding and she was still healthy.Lots of things can happen which can make you cramp and bleed. If you turn toward the side your cramping on and it goes away then its ligament pain from your uterus growing and pulling.Just take some Tylenol and rest. Drink plenty of fluids and if you don't feel any better see your ob tomorrow or go to the Emergency room tonight. They will more than likely do a HCG blood count to make sure your hormone levels are correct for your due date, vaginal exam to make sure your cervix is still closed and purple, and maybe a vaginal ultrasound. This will let the doctor evaluate you better.Just try to relax. Do not use a heating pad for cramps that is dangerous for the baby.I wish you all the luck in the world.I know when I had my miscarriage it was a dark hour in my life and it took me over a year to conceive again.I love my children so much and I never take them for granted.Just remember that if something does happen that this is all part of a greater plan and if it is meant for you to have children you will receive them at some point in your life.

I have had 4 miscarriages, and all 4 of them there was heavy heavy bleeding first, then came cramping. If you are not bleeding, then I would not worry about it, but I would call the Dr to see if there might be something going on in there. Some slight cramping is normal, but you need to get it checked out.

I am 38 weeks pregnant now and had a "threatened miscarriage" when I was about 6-7 weeks along during this pregnancy. The threat was that I was spotting. It turns out that it was the embryo had pulled away from the uterine wall which is what caused the bleeding. Apparently, it's very common and it doesn't cause the spotting/bleeding in some women so many doctors don't even mention it. (That's what my doc. told me)

I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks. I didn't have either cramping or bleeding. My pregnancy was questionable from the beginning though. My hcg levels didn't rise that well. I finally had 2 ultrasounds to confirm that I didn't have a viable pregnancy. I had to have a D&C.

I would call your OB's office and let them know about the cramping. They may want to examine you. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Best of luck for a healthy pregnancy and baby!!

I have had 7 miscarriages. Every one was different.

Yes, I had the cramping and then the bleeding came later.

Get to your Doctor, he can confirm whether or not you are having a miscarriage. If you are, there is nothing you can do to stop it, but it may help you ease your mind if you knew what was actually happening.

Good Luck, my heart goes out to you.

I had these during the first 2 months of pregnancy. Its totally normal to have them because your body is adapting to your baby. Your body ofcourse goes through alot of changes . The cramps are helping the body form itself for the baby and making room for it. It feels like your being ripped apart inside and if your having really bad even horrible menstrual cramps. Its all apart of being pregnat . If you do see bleeding of any type see your doctor or even give yor gyno dr a call they will answer your questions.

cramping always comes first in a miscarriage. it's what is better known as labor. the pain comes from your cervix dialating to allow the fetus to pass. i had the same cramping during all four of my miscarriages which matches the sensation of bearing down during labor. however, one feeling i noticed was the awful feeling of having to go to the bathroom during 3 of them.

on the brighter side, all of my pregnancies had cramping. scared the living daylights out of me. everytime i felt cramping i ran to the bathroom thinking i was losing the baby again. so far, it's all been ligament pain. (knock on wood)

as long as you are not bleeding, you need to take it easy. lay on your side, take a tylenol and lay on your side to reduce the pressure.
relax!!!! please! the more you worry, the higher your blood pressure will get. and pregnant women have natural higher blood pressure any. it's scary, i know.

I have had two kids. I went to the ER because of cramping in my lower abdomen. It was just my uterus growing and body changing. but I would go to the Doctor any way. Especially if you start spotting. Its better to be safe than sorry.

Consitant cramping for 6 hours, blood or now blood would be enough to have me in the ER right now!
