should I be philosophical? I believe the truth releases everything. If you look at most of the problems people bring to yahoo answers, (relationships, coming out, even nightmares), every problem humankind faces is because of a lack of truth, if everyone were all knowing, everyone would be happy, we need not fear it.
It can be scary though. We'd have to be foolish to think that the government doesn't have a whole ton of hidden things that would make the public go crazy and loot to find out.

At a few times in my life the truth appeared to be my imminent demise or at least severe injury. This is truly scary unlike anything else but fortunately the 'truth' was actually otherwise and I am alive and well. It makes one realise that emotions like loss, embarrassment, shame etc are really shallow and not like true fear.

Depends on who's truth it is..Your truths could be someone else's lies and vice versa...Soo to anwser you question..yea the truth scares me.
