Ann Gilbreth, the real mother of twelve children. Made famous by a book by Frank and Ernestine Gilbreth. and a great movie starring Myrna Loy made in 1950. Steve Martin made an awful remake "Cheaper by the Dozen" that had absolutely nothing to do with the real story.

There are a lot of people who were famous and then had children... but not many I can think of that became known because OF their children. Maybe Martin Luther King's mother...
I found this website that has record breaking mothers... people who only got recognized because of their children's extraordinary births.

Sylvester Stallones mum is famous for being just that. I think her name is Jackie Stallone. She is really quite scary looking. You will always remember who she is because of how the image of her face seems to be burnt into your memory stays with you after 1 look!! Aahh, poor Sly. xx
