Goodness gracious!
Yes, there is a big difference between a CZ and a diamond. Huge. Yes, you can tell by looking at it. Seriously, people.
However, you will not be able to differentiate between a natural diamond and a lab-created one w/o using a scope, and other various tools. Just looking at it, they look identical to the naked eye. And a lab-created diamond will still contain some flaws, that's just part of the chemical process. A lab-created diamond will never be as valuable as a natural diamond, but if you plan to never resell it, that doesn't matter. However, may your children one day? Something to think about. That lab-created stone will have NO estate value.
And please don't let the know-it-alls mess with you. There aren't as many "conflict diamonds" out there as they want you to think.
Get a natural diamond if you want one, nothing is quite a beautiful, but don't blow your budget to do it. you can always upgrade your stone later.

Yes....they look the same....sometimes even better because lab created gems are for the most part flawless, because they are created, or manufactured. Natural gems and diamonds usually have some type of flaw. The fewer flaws contained in the stone make it more rare and more expensive. Natural stones also vary in color, and in diamonds --- the closer to colorless the more rare and expensive. Being that they are manufactured....lab created stones can be made any color. The way the stone is cut and in what proportions is very important to the way it reflects light, and "sparkles". The better the cut....the more expensive the stone.

Natural stones will always be more expensive than lab created stones, because they occur naturally, and are much more rare. Lab created stones might be absolutely beautiful, but they are not rare or unique.
If you are thinking economically.........a Cubic Zirconia is identical to a diamond...at less than one tenth the cost. You can get a HUGE CZ for very little money. No one will be able to tell the difference ...unless you tell them. If it's not that important to you, you can save the money for a down payment on a house, and buy a loose diamond years later to replace the CZ, when you can better afford it.

Yes.

In fact inexpensive cubic zirconias as quite beautiful themselves. Do you know how to tell the differrence between a cubic zircon stone and a diamond? You look under a magifying scope and you'll see flaws in the diamond, whereas the cubic zicon is flawless!

The diamond industry is a sham. They are no more rare than rubies or many other gemstones. Their prices are controlled by the debeers cartel and they support a lot of human suffering.

What is it really about diamonds that you like?
The fact that you're wearing something that costs a lot?
or something that is pretty. If you just want something that is pretty- get some nice cubic zicons in a beautiful gold setting.

Yes they are. And not all of them have alot of flaws. Some are near perfect. The only way to tell the difference is to have them examined in a lab.

Also, purchasing lab created diamonds saves the lives of many people who die attempting to make a meager living out of mining them.

I have some faux diamonds and they look and feel so much like my real ones.

ya they r just as beautiful and u can't tell the difference just by looking at them. see i have this locket and people think it diamond but it not. ya why waste money right. let look at the bigger picture. i mean u can really use that money in the future instead of a rock. but then again u will have it for the rest of ur life. why not get small diamond under $4000?

They look just as pretty, but of course they are not as valuable, and knowing you have something precious and rare from the Earth that was many thousands of years in the making is the best part of owning a natural diamond.

Lab diamonds are pretty but they are all worthless when it comes to resale value. A real diamond can only gain in value as they say.

absolutely not. they are yellow and dull. if you mean things like cubic zirconia, that is not a lab made, it is a less precious stone, and fine if you're on a budget
