I am in a wedding so the dress is a bridsmaid dress. Not very appealing.

You're probably going to want to see what the other bridesmaids are wearing. Fashion-wise, though, I think a pair of pale pink shoes would go nice if the dress is a chocolate-brown color. If all else fails, you can't go wrong with basic black.

Wear a navy blue? with some nice shiny crystals or something on it.
Wear just plain black will not do it you are in a wedding the shoes has to stand out. You can check on this site

good lord NO BLACK!!! major fashion no-no... you can wear a burgandy color, bronze or gold. Gold would be my choice for a wedding.. I would wear really pretty strappy heels.
Personally, cream color shoes aren't my favorite. Unless your wearing a light color I would stay away from that.

How about adding gold accessories, and a pair of gold metallic strappy shoes. Bronze works well too.

bronze, beige or black. wear a stappy high heel it'll look good with the dress. and if u r going to a party then u can wear golden stilletos.

black... or a color that matches your purse.. magenta or purple
something darkish that goes with fall colors
remember the white rule!! don't wear any white shoes after after labor day... when memorial day comes around again then you can wear white shoes again and all summer long....

Brown is like black or white, it goes with everything but my personal favorite is beige.

ooh i like a lot of the answers already given, bronze, marroon, deep purple... make sure your accessories help to tie them in nicely.. or your make up
