I also agree that it is best when it is a combination of both. There are times it is best for them to be submissive and at other times to take charge. In the final analysis as long as both partners are satisfied it is great.

I prefer a mix of both. Then you dont have someone trying to tell you what to do all the time, and you get the caring and loving that is needed for a relationship to last.

I like for him to be dominant within reason. Dominant but not a control freak, he knows his boundries pretty well so I guess that in itself is being a little submissive.

I'm with you. it's a reflexion of their personality and who they are. i prefer someone who speak their mind with intelligence, witty and compassion for humanity, funny and has a positive out-look for life. i hate when people parade their ignorance. and i hate "yes" men or bobble head dolls.
