Well, I wouldn't die but I would certainly mourn a life less fulfilling.
People can live with far less than current society likes to believe, and as long as people live, they'll find a way to make music, they always have. Wooden sticks on rocks, vocals of chant and song, blowing in a bottle....the world is constantly making music, even without trying. Have you ever really listened to the sound a train makes on rail-road tracks? Crickets? Birds?

Theres no substantial proof that you will die by not listening to music. Millions of people lived their entire lives without such commodities.
