I have a laptop, HP Pavilion Z4500 its switching between battery and AC.What could be the problem?

Your power cable may be fritzing (this was the case with mine) or the pin inside the female connection on th leaptop may be bent loose. If you have another power cable try that. If you have a docking station try that. If the docking station works it is the input on the laptop. If a different cable works it is the cable.

Same with mine. The power cable mess up, I took mine to a electronic store and they put a new head on it. You might want to try keeping your cords from tangling or making sure ur power cord isn't being bent in weird directions.
