It's stupid to say that Angle isn't a good wrestler... and it's even stupider to call him a no name... the problem with Angle and other stars is that they've been buried on Smackdown and don't get exposure... You have to recognize that the character Angle played was a heal... (bad guy) so the less sophisticated wrestling fans don't like him, but he worked well in the ring and had some really good matches when he was on raw... WWE has been going down hill ever since Vince bought the competition up... and Smackdown doesn't give him the motivation that the WCW used to... I don't know if the storyline on his personal life was true or not, and I hate TNA "Too old Now for Action" but I don' t think he's a sell out for leaving... he wasn't being used to his potential... Next to go should be the Undertaker.... and then Bautista if they don't get him back to Raw.

None of us will ever really know what was really on Kurt's mind. For all we know WWE might be distorting the truth(heaven forbid). Think about this. Kurt Angle was smart enough to choose WWE over ECW & WCW. And he made the right decision. He choose what he perceived to be the best and respectable company. And he made the right decision because WWE eventually buried those promotions. And now, he's made the decision to move to TNA, despite financial security with WWE. Maybe he knows something that we don't?

just getting my two points.... I posed this question under another title. I think he lied to get out of the WWE contract. I may be proven wrong though. Someone linked an article to an answer to my question saying he's giving up the no compete clause for 500K. So if there was one in place.... then his reasons for leaving WWE may not be so fake. But he did say he wanted to take a long break from wrestling, retire now and then come back in some capacity.... I don't know. I really don't care. He's out of the WWE for good... that's for sure.

Are you nuts? They practically forced Kurt to go to ECW so they would have a named guy over there who hadn't already been associated with them, then they pretty much squashed any momentum there and wrote some lame *** crap for him.
He is gonna be much better off in TNA if they give him more creative control.
WWE did not make him into a pro-wrestler, they hired him to do a job and he did a damn fine one while in the WWE and holding the title.

I never liked or trusted Kurt Angle. A few years ago he faked breaking his leg when he was the General Manager of Smackdown. He also said that his wife left him because he was wrestling too much, then he stuck his foot in his mouth a week later saying his wife was there in the audience. The fans of W.W.E. speak out every time he comes down the ramp by saying "YOU SUCK". Yes he probably sold out and will probably go to T.N.A. He's not even that good of a wrestler. He has to remind everyone that he is the only wrestler with gold Olympic medals and he won them with a broken neck.

Oh, come on now. In a real opposition, an MMA fighter might unquestionably defeat a "professional wrestler." Even wrestlers who unquestionably are very sturdy at wrestling...and a few of them have been of their previous lives (in many situations as college athletes--Lesnar being a sturdy occasion). yet MMA combatants additionally be attentive to remarkable, which maximum "professional wrestlers" do no longer. And MMA combatants be attentive to submissions (generally from BJJ), which maximum "professional wrestlers" do no longer. Even in a real, organic wrestling tournament, many MMA combatants (with college backgrounds and extra in wrestling) might beat the "professional wrestlers." Take Dan Henderson. Or Cormier. Or maximum any fighter on team Alpha Male, from Urijah Faber on down. relish the "professional wrestling" and each and all of the many times-made-up thoughts of feuds and annoying circumstances. a lot of human beings do. that is exciting. yet do no longer for an on the spot think of that those men are able to taking over professional MMA combatants.
