The Superdome was probably easier and quicker because it was one private company dealing with their insurance companies.

By the logic of the Superdome's owners, fixing the Dome would theoretically bring more tourists and sports fans to New Orleans, therefore boosting the economy and helping to rebuild the infrastructure...only one problem-that could take years to actually effect anything positively.

Uh, who spent this money and where did it come from? You probably do not realize it, but this is the important question. Was it from insurance? Was the spending by the city of N.O.?

It would mean actually finding facts and truth and not blindly blaming Bush, the GOP or white folks for all the world's problems.

I'm still puzzled as to why people think the federal government owes them anything for their loss. I looked in the Constitution and have failed to find any clause that supports taking money from MY pocket and building someone else's house with it. Please enlighten me.
