I'm a guy, and I live in the UK.
But I'm still interested in what a purse party is.
It sounds very disturbing!

A purse party is like a Tupperware party, but I don't know if you have those in the UK. Basically, people (mostly women) gather at the hostess's (or host's) house for the opportunity to purchase purses (women's handbags) at deep discounts. These purses are mostly of the high-end designer brand variety, and I think (but I'm not sure) that they are usually imitations of the real thing.

Well first of all you have to be open minded when you hear about things and you dont know what they are. A purse party is when lots of women get together at another's house and the hostess sells different brands of purses. That simple! I've been too handmade purse parties, designer parties, and just regular purse parties. Hope this helps!

ill tell you what the hell a purse party is........
its where you get 9 of your best friends and then you all go to a stranger's door and ask him to go get cake with you. Then you all put your purses in a line and each boy picks one. Then whoever's he picks is his girlfriend for a week or until you break up. But the catch is you buy her a new Louis Vuttion purse each day. ( the price of a girl is high) You have to try it. It's the only way to get a girl.... let me know how it goes....

It's a party you get invited too and they sell purses at good prices they even have tattoo parties and it works same.

Its like going to a babyshower almost there are alot of woman there trying to buy things its almost like a sell show one woman or the hostess stand up and shows woman a purse she says all of these great things about it and then someone may order it if they like it. Its goes on and on there is food etc... they play games its really fun

yes, it's having the purse section of a dept store in your house! but it's all designer knock offs for great prices... girls love them!
