Yep, it's fun! The best part of the Detroit to Green Bay (or Milwaukee) run is you usually land before you leave thank to the time change. =)

Sure they do. Aircraft typically take the most direct route between cities. (you know how costly aviation fuel is, don't you.). If that takes them over water, that's how they go.
